Run the World (Policy and Procedure Writers)

OIRA completed its review of the 2024 Title IX Rules and the final Rules are now here. Those who write and implement Title IX policies may be experiencing déjà vu. But there’s no reason to ring the alarm. A well-written Title IX policy is irreplaceable. It both sets the standard for creating an inclusive learning environment–helping ensure that every individual feels valued, respected, and safe–and governs how you respond to reports of discriminatory or harassing behavior. And well thought out procedures and templates help ensure your school follows the policy. Together, they help you put a ring on your school’s Title IX compliance.

Collaboration for the Win! Title IX and Special Education in K-12

There are so many complex issues at the intersection of Title IX and special education that make collaboration between Title IX and special education teams essential. Are you doing all you need to do to protect your educational institution from legal risks involving Title IX and special education?
