Why Title IX Sexual Harassment Training?

The 2020 Title IX rules envision ongoing training for all members of the K-12 Title IX team, including Title IX coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, appellate decision-makers, and informal resolution facilitators. At minimum, any person who serves in one of those roles for your school or school district must have training on the required topics outlined in the rules. Even team members who were trained when the rules were released should undergo ongoing, additional training to meet the rules’ training expectations.

Thompson & Horton’s Title IX training sessions cover all topics required for each individual team member role. We pride ourselves in going beyond mere compliance to offer training sessions that address best practices for mitigation of legal risk in an engaging and fast-paced format. We help your team solidify their understanding so they are ready to hit the ground running when they receive a Title IX sexual harassment report or complaint.
